Level Crossing Removal

The Level Crossing Removal at North, McKinnon and Centre Roads involved removing three level crossings over a period of 37 days.

Land Surveys provided 24 hours survey data management and field survey services to enable excavation of the rail corridor, lowering of the rails below the road and construction of new stations.

Survey data management was key as all set-out data needed to be calculated from PDF design plans as required, and provided to the surveyors without delay. Surveyors had to interface and service all components of the project, from the design teams to the civil contractors and building trades. All works were completed within the tight time frames and to a successful conclusion.

Land Surveys had four Surveyors on-site throughout the duration of the project.
