LAND SURVEYS APPOINTS NON-EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN

Land Surveys is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Pearce as Non-Executive Chairman of the company.

Richard is an experienced professional in the mining and mining technology, energy, and food and agriculture industries. His experience in the mining industry spans the value chain including board directorships, exploration, operation management, mining finance, M&A, business strategy and operational improvement. Richard’s academic achievements include MBA, BSc (Hons), Diploma in Mining Finance and Diploma in Geostatistics. He is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Fellow of Australian Institute of Management.

With a career of more than 20 years, Richard has worked in multiple commodities and geographies including iron ore, coal, uranium, mineral sands, gold and copper; in Europe, the Middle East, North and South America, South East Asia, New Zealand and Australia. This experience has been gained working for global mining and technology companies, junior exploration and development companies, and private investment companies.

Beyond mining, Richard has been an executive and main board director of one of Australia’s largest private agricultural groups for more than five years. His experience, including working on group structuring, finance, M&A and business strategy, supporting the domestic and international operations and expansion of the Group, will be beneficial to Land Surveys as Richard works with our management team to ensure ongoing success and expansion of the company.
