Dilapidation Technician

Our East Coast team continues to grow, and multiple new positions have been created within our Dilapidation Team. If you enjoy the challenges of working on a variety of projects or would like to be part of our most iconic infrastructure projects, this is an excellent opportunity to join.We are currently looking for full time Dilapidation technician to join the team in our Port Melbourne office.The role is client facing and ensures that we deliver excellent service to our clients. The main focus of this role is to execute all dilapidation surveys within Melbourne and Victoria as required. Assisting with liaising with clients and Land Surveys staff in interstate offices, including traveling to these sites when required.This role will be based outdoors and will require someone who is comfortable on their feet all day.What is Dilapidation:Dilapidation Survey is undertaken prior to a contractor commencing any demolition or construction works.  The survey involves capturing high-resolution photographic imagery, 360 imagery or digital video footage.About the RoleExecute field dilapidation surveys with survey teams;Assist in implementation and ongoing review and updating of survey guidelines and procedures;Manage field compliance with BMS standards;Responsible for all client communications;Continual evaluation of digital photography and processing technologies;Assist in identifying new opportunities;About youOur ideal candidate will have an understanding of customer service, with exceptional communication and relationship building skills.In addition, the candidate will be part of developing our dilapidation department through the use of new technology as we look to expand the services we provide.You must have an adaptable approach to your work and be willing to help in other areas requiring support when required.
