Project Overview

Highgate Primary School embarked on an exciting expansion project aimed at supporting future growth and providing enhanced learning opportunities. The project involved the installation of advanced modular classrooms and updated facilities to meet the evolving needs of the school.

Project Scope

Land Surveys was engaged by Ausco Modular to deliver comprehensive surveying and dilapidation reporting services in support of the construction works. The project scope included:

• Completing detailed existing condition reports on adjacent main roads and within the school grounds.
• Using a mobile-based data capture platform to collect, position, and manage data efficiently.
• Providing GPS-tagged photographs, condition comments, tabulated defect lists, and cloud-based data management.
• Generating automated PDF reports for streamlined client delivery.

Our Approach

A dedicated team from Land Surveys was assigned to the project to ensure high-quality outcomes and efficient project delivery. The team consisted of a Project Manager, Data Manager Administrator, Community Liaison Manager, a specialised dilapidation team, and a survey team. By leveraging mobile technology and cloud-based systems, Land Surveys provided real-time, reliable data and seamless communication across all stakeholders, ensuring that project requirements were met with minimal disruption to the school’s operational environment.
